Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Esplanade is frequently praised for its fabulous location near the prom, making it a stone's throw away from both the beach and town. Guests often enjoy rooms with sea views, some featuring high ceilings and unique decor, like nautical blues, and generous hospitality trays. Breakfast receives positive mentions for its lovely spread, including hot options with perfectly cooked eggs; however, some guests have found the rooms to be somewhat dated compared to online pictures. The hotel's proximity to amenities and good value are also commonly highlighted.

Wonderful Stay with Amazing Sea Views

helpful staff beautiful furniture spacious room clean guest house
The staff was helpful. The breakfast had superb quality and choice. Our room had beautiful furniture. It was spacious with amazing sea views (I especially liked waking up to the sunrise!). The whole guest house was beautifully decorated. It was also very clean.
The room was smaller than expected. It was a little cramped with my dog, but it was manageable for a few days.

The breakfast had multiple rich menu options. A vegetarian choice was also available. There were many options including toast, bacon sandwich, cereals, and fruit (the bacon was excellent!).
